Back in 2001, at the dawn of the information superwebs, there was an ad campaign called "Whassup?!" We didn't know it yet, but it would be the first example of viral marketing in the digital age. The campaign featured spoof videos featuring everyone from the SuperFriends to old Jewish guys. You could watch the ads on these microsites and learn to speak Whassup in any language.
